James 1:2
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials
This weekend was truly a test of my faith. I prayed to the Lord about a situation and he led me to this scripture. He calls us to Count it all joy when we face trials. It is probably hard for some to try and comprehend the concept of being joyous in a touch situation but I'm here to tell you that its worked for me and people always ask me how I'm able to do it and this is it right here.
Every since I was in high school, Ive been made fun of for my happy spirit. I had people try and make it a mission to make me angry. Wow, thinking back on that just reminds me how important it is to remain joyful through it all. Sometimes, I'll even catch myself laughing after someone really p-d me off. Ya see? This scripture gives us permission to laugh and be full of joy through the hard times. This means that our tears do not have to become us. Psalms 30:5 says that Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.
I could make this a long blog but because of time, I must bring it to a close by saying this. The next time someone looks at you crazy and says things like "I want what your on." or" How are you always so happy?" Tell them about James 1:2.
God Bless
